The GE Vivid iq portable cardiovascular ultrasound machine was the first touchscreen-based premium portable ultrasound machine. Its image quality is better than any other portable cardiovascular ultrasound, and the new design offers a surprisingly easy user experience.
The GE Vivid iq has much improved and clearer image quality than its predecessors (GE Vivid i and GE Vivid q). The architecture is new, a welcome change from the older technologies in previous GE portable cardiac ultrasound machines.
Although advertised as a premium cardiovascular ultrasound machine, it functions well as a shared-service ultrasound machine. It includes tools and applications for OB/GYN and other imaging types. It also offers excellent imaging for MSK and small parts.
Key Features
The GE Vivid iq is a complete cardiovascular ultrasound. It supports many imaging modes, including cardiac and vascular.
It also works for transesophageal (TEE), venous, and fetal imaging. Additionally, it is useful for OB/GYN, abdominal, pediatric, small parts, neonatal cephalic, adult cephalic, and musculoskeletal imaging. Available systems also include the GE Vivid iq v204.
